IMPEDE-FX
The IMPEDE-FX Embolization Plug consists of the biocompatible smart polymer. Optimized stasis and stable clot formation through porous material reduces intra-device recanalization risk and can induce healing without chronic inflammation. * Designed for use with IMPEDE, IMPEDE-FX can provide additional space filling when needed. The compliant material has low radial force and conforms to the anatomy without vessel distortion. The smart polymer portion of the device has no artifact, which facilitates follow-up imaging.

INDICATION (Japan): The IMPEDE-FX Embolization Plug is a blood vessel embolization device which is percutaneously deployed in an artery or vein for obstructing blood flow. This device is used for abnormal blood vessels like arteriovenous malformation, aneurysm and fistula, bleeding by traumatic vascular injury, a tumor, etc. except for intracranial and cardiac vessels.
